Meet Nora Toomey, Clinical Herbalist of True Bloom Apothecary, for an evening of community medicine making of Fire Cider!

Fire Cider is a classic folk remedy that herbalists and “kitchen witches” have been making for generations. It boosts the immune system, wards off colds and flu, and is an overall tonic for the body. Fire Cider is a wonderful remedy to make on your own, but even more fun to make with friends!

As we chop up our ingredients, we will learn all about this delightfully spicy and sweet remedy, including the history, the primary herbal actions and applications, and the myriad of recipe variations you can try at home! Each participant will leave with a pint jar full of Fire Cider!

There is a $5 materials fee (cash-only) for this class. Please bring this with you on the night of the program. Registration is for adults and teens 13 & over.
