Calling all homeschoolers! Come down to the Simsbury Public Library for an informational session on our sewing machines. This is open to parents and teens!
NEVER USED A SEWING MACHINE BEFORE? OR IT'S BEEN SO LONG THAT YOU NEED A REFRESHER?
Join Dawn to learn the basics of using a sewing machine. She will show you techniques that you can practice in class to learn how to work the machine confidently. You will also learn how to make a pin cushion you can take home!
Anyone taking the class will need to fill out an Innovators’ Workshop Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement. You can fill out the forms before training by downloading here, or arrive early to fill out the paperwork at the start of training in the makerspace.
Teens must have a signed Innovators’ Workshop Minor Liability Waiver and Hold Harmless Agreement that can be found here.
Space is limited, so please only register if you plan to attend.
If you have any questions, please email Kai at kpietraroia@libraryconnection.info
This is a partnership program with Bloomfield Public Library and Simsbury Public Library.
