Event Details

You've spent the winter learning about pollinators and native plants, and you're planning to start or expand your home habitat, but you're not sure...dig first? Leave the grass? How deep? Which plants? What to buy? Am I supposed to prune now? How do I do this and keep safe from ticks? Should I mow now? Wait? AUUUGGHHH! I think I'll just stay inside!  Never fear, the last session in our series takes all the information
from the first four and puts it together to help you take the next steps for spring. It will take into consideration different levels of "gardening commitment"- planting for pollinators can be just dipping your toe in the organic mulch or an all-in dive into a yard flip, and Lisa and Madison are back to help you out!

“It’s Spring!” Presenters: Lisa Newell & Madison Blake

A presentation by the Pollinator Pathways Committee and the Simsbury Library.
