Have you ever wondered what it feels like to walk the ancient trails of a Japanese temple? To hear the wind gust through the bamboo and the gurgle of a stream over the moss-covered boulders?  To make eye contact with a statue created hundreds of years before you were born, where thousands of people have looked up into its loving face before you?

Charlie Siegel is here to share this beauty with you. Through a multimedia presentation with images and videos accompanied by his narration, you can visit Japan without even leaving the library. He will explain the history and spiritual beliefs of many of the sites you will see, along with fun anecdotes that bring you on the adventure alongside him and his camera.

Accompanying a few images in particular will be selected verses of Charlie’s original, spiritual poetry from his recent book, Awakening the Inner Light: To walk the path of the soul. Charlie has visited Japan 3 times and welcomes you on an adventure into the history, culture, healing imagery, and beautiful nature of this amazing country.
