In this meditative class, we will learn to make close observations of what we see and record our findings in words and images on the nature journal page. This calming practice is fun, enjoyable, and easy to learn. The smallest and humblest plants and animals can offer amazing beauty, patterns, shapes, details, and designs when you stop to really look. Fall is a perfect time to begin a nature journal, bringing with it so many colorful changes for us to notice, track, and enjoy. This class is great for anyone who is looking for a way to slow down, unplug, and relax. Participants will leave this class with a fine tuned way of seeing the natural world and the foundation for a regular nature journaling practice. No experience necessary!
