Would you like to learn the basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online? The Library will have classes and assessments in three main areas: Essential Computer Skills; Essential Software Skills; and Using Technology in Daily Life.

This is your opportunity to continue or start your training at your own pace with assistance from our moderator, Shawn. The first step is to set up your Northstar account to keep track of your progress. After that, you can take any of the self-guided assessments available to see where you might need training OR you can take a class on your own and ask for assistance when needed.

Only have 30 minutes? Want to work through 2-hours of training? Once you have your Northstar account, you can jump in to any training at any time you'd like for as long as you like.

Classes & assessments moderated by “Tech with a Teen,” Shawn Lawlor and all classes will be held in the Technology Learning Center upstairs. Cosponsored by the Simsbury Senior Center and the Simsbury Public Library.
