Simsbury Land Trust: "Addressing Climate Change through Local Initiatives."

Mark Scully of PACE (People's Action for Clean Energy) will discuss our changing climate. Climate change is the greatest threat humanity faces. This threat can seem so daunting, immense and complex that we feel helpless in its face. Yet, there is much we can do at the local level to address this challenge. This talk seeks to first convey a basic understanding of Climate Change, in both scientific and personal terms, then present a comprehensive approach to addressing it. Finally, and most importantly, it seeks to inspire and equip participants with the tools to effect positive change in their personal lives and communities.
