Hit the trail with the Library! Join us on different hikes around Simsbury. All participants who are able to walk independently are welcome. Please bring water and bug repellent. Hiking footwear recommend.

Early Explorers is a toddler enrichment program that will allow your toddler time to socialize with other toddlers while also engaging in a variety of activities each week that are fun, engaging, educational and developmentally appropriate. 

Join us for a fun toddler art project! This week will be watercolor paper collage inspired by the colors of fall! The emphasis will be on play and exploration of different art mediums in a relaxed environment. 

The Friday English Conversation Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for English as a second-language speakers to participate in lively back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S.

Did you take Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome in-person or virtually. 

Mystery Book Group has moved to be 100% virtual for the coming season. Join our moderator, Carole Shmurak, from the comfort of home for an interesting and lively discussion of the mystery book Murder as a Second Language by Joan Hess.

Looking for a space to play Magic the Gathering? Or are you a new player looking to try it out? Come to the library to battle fellow Magic enthusiasts!

Join the Teen Game Club at the library for a game-filled adventure! Each week, we alternate between playing Nintendo Switch games and board/party games.

Join us for a Cricut Sticker Making Class led by our Maker-in-Residence Ava! In this class you will learn the basics of Cricut design and cutting. Participants will create waterproof vinyl sticker to take home. No experience necessary!

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon with a great picture book and art project! We will read a fun scarecrow inspired story and make our very own scarecrows!

For students in grades 2-6 interested in learning to play chess or improving their chess game. Students should know how the chess pieces move before their first visit.

Looking to play more chess? Come check out the Adult Chess Club, where you will have the opportunity to play against fellow chess enthusiasts. All skill levels are welcome. Please note this is not a class to learn how to play.

What can you build? Bring your imagination and enjoy building with a wide variety of different materials. The possibilities are endless!
