We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Our new Morning Knitting Group is a welcoming space for knitters of all levels to gather, share ideas, and enjoy the art of knitting together.

This program provides background information and policy options for the eight most critical issues facing America each year and serves as the focal text for discussion groups across the country. Topics for discussion this year include:

Did you take Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome in-person or virtually. 

The Mystery Book Group has moved to 100% virtual this season. Join our moderator, Carole Shmurak, from the comfort of home  for an interesting and lively discussion of the mystery book Blindsighted by Karin Slaughter.

Local artist and musician Marcie Swift will discuss her new book, Whimsies & Wonders: Finding Joy Within the Chaos, a heartfelt collection of paintings and reflections born from a journey through illness, healing, and self-discovery.

Join us for a special Valentine's Day party on a Simsbury Public Schools half day. Participants will enjoy sweet treats and heart-themed crafts and activities.

Join the Teen Game Club at the library for a game-filled adventure! Each week, we alternate between playing Nintendo Switch games and board/party games.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon. We'll read a great winter picture book, followed by a craft where we will make a pinecone snowy owl!

Join us at the library to build with LEGOs. 

For students in grades 2-6 interested in learning to play chess or improving their chess game. Students should know how the chess pieces move before their first visit.

Looking to play more chess? Come check out the Adult Chess Club, where you will have the opportunity to play against fellow chess enthusiasts. All skill levels are welcome. Please note this is not a class to learn how to play.

Join Ava Rodrigues and learn how to build a consistent, professional brand using Canva! 

Hang out and be yourself! All identities are welcome! We'll have a variety of crafts and games to choose from. Snacks provided.
