Program Description
Event Details
The group will present a collection of songs as a prayer to Hindu gods and goddesses on the occasion of Diwali. The performance will include visuals before each song to highlight the underlying Hindu narratives and demonstrate how the gods and goddesses are embodied in their dances. The songs will correspond to each God who corresponds to the legends associated with the origin of Diwali- The festival of lights which happens to be one of our most important festivals.
