Event Details

Join Dr. Richard Benfield for a photographic safari to explore the wonders of Sub-Saharan Africa. Victoria Falls are nicknamed by the locals Mosi-oa-Tunya; which means 'The smoke that thunders', due to the billowing clouds of mist that rise up and drench everything and everyone in its reach when the river is in flood. Before we get to the falls we will explore the Game Parks of southern Africa, visit the Bwindi National Forest, home to the last 500 gorillas in the equatorial rainforests of Uganda and boat amongst the crocodiles and Elephants of the Okavango Delta. Seven nations; seven hundred species of animal in one hour!
