Are you an aspiring graphic novelist? Do you love to draw and read graphic novels? Ever wonder how to create compelling characters for your stories? Sign up today for the graphic novel workshop with local author/illustrator J.C. Phillipps. Learn how to create characters and illustrate different emotions to help convey your storytelling. Materials will be provided (paper, pencils, markers), but if attendees want to bring their tablets to draw on that is fine.

J.C. Phillipps is the author and illustrator of the Pacey Packer Unicorn Tracker and Wink the Ninja graphic novel series. J. C. works out of a room in her home which is filled with bookshelves, colorful paper, Post-It notes, and coffee mugs. When not working, she loves to read, watch TV, and play with her cats. She is also a collage and watercolor artist who shows her work in the Greater Hartford area. She is a founding member of the WeHa Artists Emporium.
