Join us at the Tulmeadow Farm trail to explore the natural beauty of Simsbury's trails. This hike will be led by a representative of the Simsbury Land Trust, so you'll also learn more about free outdoor activities around town.

Stop by the Children’s Room to pick up a craft or activity each Saturday during the Summer Reading Program. First come, first served while supplies last.

We welcome newborns and infants to join us on the Library Lawn for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Do you have what it takes to delve into the Lost Mines of Phandelver?! This is a 7-week beginner D&D game. You will learn how to create a level one character in the first session. All materials will be provided for you.

As the heat of August arrives we celebrate the Dog Days of Summer. Rather than lament them, we are celebrating them with movies featuring our favorite dogs of film. Come laugh, or cry, with our favorite pet!

Adventure awaits for beginner D&D players in our afternoon session! You will learn how to create your own character and then play in a 7-week campaign. This program will be in the Teen Space, and is for rising 7-12 graders.

Come hike the Ice Cream Trail with the Library! We'll take a gentle walk from Town Forest Park to Tulmeadow Farm to enjoy a cone. Plan to meet by the playground/pond at Town Forest Park.

This week, we're playing Jackbox Party games on the Nintendo Switch. You will need a tablet or smartphone to play along.

Using demonstrations and class activities students will explore how sound is made from vibrations and travels as waves. See a wave and explore the effects of its length and amplitude. Students will build musical instruments they get to keep.

Join Ms. Stephanie and other graphic novel fans to talk about the Babymouse series by Jennifer L. Holm and do some fun activities based on the graphic novels.

Want to learn a new musical instrument? Join our beginner ukulele group! We will meet on the library lawn as long as the weather permits. If the weather is bad, we will meet inside.
