Open office hours to assist veteran's with filling out any required paperwork and answer questions you may have concerning your military service. Drop in.

Stop by the Children's Room to pick up a craft to celebrate Kwanzaa. Kwanzaa is an African American and Pan-African holiday that celebrates history, values, family, community and culture. It is observed from December 26 to January 1.

We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time.

Get ready for rhymes, shakers, and songs designed for curious toddlers. Focus will be on a familiar structure to each meeting, so little ones can listen, follow directions, and have lots of fun!

Marie Lim and her guitar present a fun-filled music and movement program. Come sing songs, make music, and move to the beat!

Join us for a program of lap bounces, songs with movement, and books designed for older babies who have begun walking up to 24 months. 

Children ages birth-6 and their caregivers are welcome to join us for playtime in the FSPL Program Room. Kids can choose from different free play activities in a fun and relaxed environment. 

The Friday English Conversation Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for English as a second-language speakers to participate in lively back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S.

Let’s create playful letters with the brush! Taught by calligrapher, Debby Reelitz. Lettering with a brush is fun and challenging all at the same time.

A group for people who are interested in writing. Discussions concerning character, plot, dialogue, etc. In class writing. Please bring a paper notebook, pen or pencil to the meeting.

Took Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome.

Uke Hoots are community play alongs for acoustic instruments and voices. Join us as we play through American roots and popular music favorites. All playing abilities are welcome.

A Memory Cafe is a relaxed, social gathering for people experiencing memory loss, early stage dementia or a cognitive impairment.

Join us at The Coffee Spot for the Teen Simsbury Somewhat Silent Book Club! What is a Somewhat Silent Bookclub you ask? Everyone will bring a book they are currently reading.

Looking for a place to play Dungeons & Dragons after school? Then join our new D&D club for 7th & 8th graders. We'll meet in the Teen Space and take turns running games. This club runs until Tuesday, December 19th. 

Game on at the library! Every week, we'll try out a different game. We run the gamut from video games like Mario Kart to board games like Exploding Kittens. For grades 7-12. 

Join us to make geometric structures out of candy!

Join Mary and Mika for the new Tween Club where we'll hang out in the Weatogue Room and do something fun. This month we'll be choosing and brewing our own tea, then making and trying boba alongside it.

Looking to make a holiday gift for someone or yourself? This class will teach participants how to use Cricut Design Space, the Cricut machine, and the Cricut mug press. 

In North of Forty, senior fitness expert Lauren Hurst and photographer Nick Cinea tell the stories of over 50 senior athletes ranging from ages 54 to 103, marathoners to martial artists to mountaineers, ordinary and extraordinary people.
