We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time.

The Friday English Conversation Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for English as a second-language speakers to participate in lively back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S.

Took Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome.

A group for people who are interested in writing. Discussions concerning character, plot, dialogue, etc. In class writing. Please bring a paper notebook, pen or pencil to the meeting.

Join our moderator, Carole Shmurak, for an interesting and lively discussion of the mystery book Dog On It by Spencer Quinn. All are welcome to attend. Copies of the book will be available for checkout at the Circulation Desk.

Join instructor Pam Palmer in the Library's Innovators' Workshop on how to use the sewing machine. Guidance will be provided on basic sewing machine techniques and how to create simple items. This class does not teach you how to sew.

Are you a homeschooling teen in the Farmington Valley? Want to meet other teens your age? Come hang out at Simsbury Public Library, and we'll have a chill time.

Michael and Steve Armentano are brothers whose repertoire consists of cover songs from the 1960s through 1990s as well as some TV show theme songs and original material from their debut album, FLY with Rock Solid Alibi.
