We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Our new Morning Knitting Group is a welcoming space for knitters of all levels to gather, share ideas, and enjoy the art of knitting together.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time.

Join Brynn Brown for a beginner Embroidery Machine Workshop! 

Early Explorers is a toddler enrichment program that will allow your toddler time to socialize with other toddlers while also engaging in a variety of activities each week that are fun, engaging, educational and developmentally appropriate. 

Conversation and Camaraderie (C&C) is a men's group that has been meeting successfully in Avon for the past two years.

Join us for a fun toddler art project! This week will TURKEYS! The emphasis will be on play and exploration of different art mediums in a relaxed environment.

The Friday English Conversation Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for English as a second-language speakers to participate in lively back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S.

Did you take Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome in-person or virtually.

Join Bert Sirkin on a captivating journey through the heart of Alaska. This presentation showcases breathtaking photographs of grizzly bears in their natural habitat, captured in the rugged landscapes of Katmai Peninsula and Denali National Park.

On November 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th the Simsbury Camera Club will be taking family portraits at the Simsbury Public Library. You can use these photos for your holiday cards or a family portrait.

Join the Teen Game Club at the library for a game-filled adventure! Each week, we alternate between playing Nintendo Switch games and board/party games.

Do you like to knit, crochet, cross stitch, embroider, and/or needle felt? Then bring your current WIP to the Library! Materials will be available for those who want to try out a fiber art. Snacks will be provided. 

Could you, would you even dare...to build your very own piece of corn on the cob?! Come and read a fun autumnal story with us followed by the STEM challenge of using Candy Corn to see how high you build your piece of corn.
