Chess Club (Gr. 2-6, Sign Up Online)

Thank you for participating in Chess Club! I wanted to let you know that we are ending our Chess Club season a bit early this year. Gert Hilhorst, our wonderful volunteer coach, has some personal matters that conflict with the dates as originally planned. The last day of Chess Club for winter/spring 2024 will be February 21. Gert will follow up with additional information about the last meeting. We plan to resume in fall 2024, per usual. Thank you for your understanding.

For students in grades 2-6 interested in learning to play chess or improving their chess game. Students should know how the chess pieces move before their first visit. Meetings focus on learning chess strategy, chess sportsmanship, and organizing games.
