Program Description

Event Details

For beginners and those who need a refresher:
 Use different machine stitches to make a glasses case or wallet with zip
• For slightly more experienced embroiderers:
 We will hoop more difficult material and use a variety of stabilizers

The library does not charge for these classes and we are limited to 6 students. You must sign up for both classes and if you cannot attend, please let one of us know – not just the library – so that we can offer your spot to someone else. As we had only one student at our last 2-hour class – we decided to try a different format that seemed to work well for you in the fall. If you like this, but cannot make Tuesdays, please let us know and we will try to schedule the next ones on a different day. We will have two machines so that those with no experience can learn on one and those with more experience can move ahead to some newer projects.

If you want to get a head start here is a youtube video from someone with a slightly newer machine – PE 800 – the main difference is the color display. This includes information about Winding the bobbin, Threading the machine, Changing the needle, and Hooping the stabilizer.
We look forward to working with you.
