Unjudge someone at Simsbury Public Library! Join us at this special event for the opportunity to check out a Book from our Human Library and talk openly with local human volunteers about their unique backgrounds, identities, and lived experiences. Ask questions and challenge prejudice through dialogue and connection.

This event will open at 10am and the last checkouts will be at 1:45pm. Books will be available on a first come, first served basis throughout the event: 10am-1:45pm

Note: Individuals and families are encouraged to attend, but because we expect to publish a range of Books, who will have conservations about their experiences with some tough topics, like bullying, self harm, disability, mental health, gender, occupation, ethnicity, religion and more, the program is recommended for ages 6 or older with a parent or guardian, so you can decide which Books available for checkout will be most appropriate for you and/or your family.

This event is presented in partnership with Simsbury Public Library, the Simsbury Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, and the Human Library Organization
