Program Description

Event Details

Join youth and adult staff from Q Plus to explore and discuss what it means to apply for college as a queer student. Learn about best practices, red and green flags to look for, resources to assist in the search for a queer-friendly college campus, and more. This presentation is interactive and will include time for discussion and questions.

This is a hybrid event meaning if you cannot attend in person you can still register for a Zoom link to be sent to you. Make sure to check the correct field when registering to say if you will attend in person or virtually. The Zoom link will be sent after 1 pm on the day of the program.

Q+ is a nonprofit organization that works to create more youth-accessible spaces, uplift youth voices, and empower queer youth. Their overall goal is to create space for queer youth to be authentically and entirely themselves. Every event and program they support is born of a need identified by queer young people, rather than suggested by adults.
