Michael and Steve Armentano are brothers whose repertoire consists of cover songs from the 1960s through 1990s as well as some TV show theme songs and original material from their debut album, FLY with Rock Solid Alibi. Their repertoire is from a variety of artists such as, The Beatles, James Taylor, Paul Simon, Chris Stapleton, Frank Sinatra, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison, The Drifters, Glen Campbell, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Jim Croce and Sam Cooke.
The brothers and have been performing professionally together for over 30 years, with Mike on acoustic guitar/vocals and Steve playing assorted percussion. They are founding members of The Nifty Fifties Band and Rock Solid Alibi (a classic Rock and Rock & Roll group). Both groups have performed at many events such as First Night Hartford, First Night Middletown, Southington Apple Harvest Festival, Enfield 4th of July Celebration, New London OpSail, Hartford Riverfest, Taste of Hartford, as well as many CT fairs, town summer concert series and other private and public events.
