Dayton Rich is a talented songwriter, storyteller, and acoustic performer. Together with Bass Guitarist Don Roberts, you will be immersed in an incredible musical performance. You can find Dayton’s music on many streaming platforms. Don’t miss this unforgettable concert.

About the artist: For years Dayton had co-managed and performed as the lead singer, rhythm guitar and harmonica player in a popular local band, The Basically Blues. The band played mostly in the Connecticut River Valley with its home base at the Gelston
House in East Haddam. Of note, the band performed on the stage of the Goodspeed Opera House and was also hired by both Tony Walton and Julie Andrews to perform at their Goodspeed show’s casting parties.

After many years with the Blues Band, Dayton left to form his own more cover orientated band called, The Dayton Rich Band. This ensemble also had many years of success playing numerous local venues and private parties.

While performing in bands, Dayton developed a keen interest in writing his own songs. By the year 2000 he had released his first CD of 10 songs titled, Sunflowers at Midnight. Later in 2018 he released his second CD titled, Man of No Means. Dayton was a long-time member of the Nashville Songwriter’s Association which he credits for helping him to develop and hone his songwriter skills.
