Event Details

Today is the first day of Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. Stop by the Children’s Room from 9:30am-8:30pm to pick up a take home activity ti create your own simple paper diyas. Real diyas are small (usually clay) oil lamps lit during the festival of Diwali to symbolize prosperity in the New Year. First come, first served while supplies last. This event is part of the 2021 Simsbury Community Read program.
