Program Description

Event Details

Nearly half of adults in their 40s and 50s are helping their parents navigate getting older – all while working and caring for younger family members at home.  Join McLean and the Town of Simsbury Senior & Social Services for a workshop designed to support those caring for, or concerned about, aging parents. You’ll gain practical strategies for having sensitive conversations, discerning when to step in and when to step back, and exploring care options and community resources for aging parents.

Panel:
Peggy Coburn, MPH, McLean, Administrator of Home Care & Hospice
Amy Daniels, McLean, BSW, Care Coordinator

Ann Marie Grella, Town of Simsbury, Coordinator of Elderly Outreach Services

Rachael Loveland, LCSW, Town of Simsbury, Community Social Worker

In partnership with McLean & Simsbury Social Services.
