The Simsbury Camera Club is presenting The
Beauty of Black and White by Danielle Austen

Black & White Photography creates a timeless quality to
images. It is a creative choice as it can dramatically
transform your image, but it can also help improve an
image as it focuses more on the elements like tonal
contrast, texture, shape, form, and quality of light. It is
suitable for almost any type of genre, like landscapes,
portraits, architecture, still life, and street photography.
Danielle will discuss the principles of B&W
Photography and why converting your images can be
beneficial. She will then demonstrate how to convert
images using some of the most accessible
post-processing software programs available.
