The Simsbury Light Opera Company presents the Act I Finale of "Iolanthe," followed by miscellaneous spooky and supernatural songs and scenes from the Gilbert & Sullivan Canon.

The Simsbury Light Opera Company has produced at least one public performance every year since 1945, making them the oldest continuously performing community theatre company in Connecticut, and one of the oldest in the country. They produce fully staged operettas, complete with costumes, sets, and an orchestra, and draw a cast, crew, and audience from all over the state, as well as from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. SLOCO is non-profit and fully volunteer, being carried on by people who love music, theatre, and community.
