Simsbury Light Opera Teaser: Gilbert & Sullivan's H.M.S. Pinafore

The Simsbury Light Opera Company presents the cast of their Spring 2024 production of Gilbert & Sullivan's 'H.M.S. Pinafore.' Cast members will perform selections from Pinafore in a special preview of the show, followed by a variety of musical selections.

The Simsbury Light Opera Company has produced at least one public performance every year since 1945, making them the oldest continuously performing community theatre company in Connecticut, and one of the oldest in the country. They produce fully staged operettas, complete with costumes, sets, and an orchestra, and draw a cast, crew, and audience from all over the state, as well as from Massachusetts and Rhode Island. SLOCO is a non-profit and fully volunteer, being carried on by people who love music and theatre.
