Event Details

Give your old t-shirts a new life as a tote bag for Earth Day! Join us for this 2 session workshop led by West End Woolies that is an environmentally friendly project! Participants will learn how to take their old t-shirts, turn them into yarn, and knit a tote bag. This is a 2 class workshop for Grades 7-12. Participants are required to attend both sessions to learn the necessary skills to create a finished tote bag.

No knitting experience required, but please bring a t-shirt you don't mind cutting up. Aside from t-shirts, the rest of the supplies will be provided. Registration is required.
