We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time.

Join us to make a card for mom or another special woman in honor of Mother's Day. 

Get ready for rhymes, shakers, and songs designed for curious toddlers. Focus will be on a familiar structure to each meeting, so little ones can listen, follow directions, and have lots of fun!

Create and customize your glitter slime. Kids will have some time to play with their slime after they make it and before they take it home.  

Sing, dance, and experience the parachute in this fun early childhood music program.

Join us for a program of lap bounces, songs with movement, and books designed for older babies who have begun walking up to 24 months. 

Explore weaving with yarn on an adorable pocket-sized loom. We'll learn about warp, weft, and woven patterns. All materials are provided, and kids can take home whatever woven piece they finish during this intro session. 

Need help with math? Bring your math homework or a concept you need help with and two Simsbury High School students will tutor you. For Grades 1-6. 

Hola Bebé is a Spanish language storytime. Speakers of all languages are welcome to join us for stories, songs and rhymes. Whether you already speak Spanish or want to learn something new, this is a fun program for all.

Join us for a special tea party for kids and their grownups. Participants will enjoy tea and snacks, as well as a tea party themed story and craft. All supplies (including real tea cups) will be provided.

Children ages 1-6 and their caregivers are welcome to join us for a mini drop-in craft on the Library Lawn.

Join us for a relaxing and calming threading activity while exploring the ways threading can help you de-stress and reduce worry or anxiety. Activities include: latch hooking, loom banding, crocheting, and knitting.
