We are all feeling the uncertainty and stress. Please join school psychologist, Cathy Ernst, Ph.D., and school counselor, Pam Sickinger, Ph.D., for a discussion of the benefits of mindfulness. Participants will learn how a regular mindfulness practice can help people manage uncertainty and difficult emotions and also build resilience for addressing future challenges.
Dr.'s Ernst and Sickinger have been practicing mindfulness for over five years and are both trained in using the Mindful Schools' curriculum. In addition to bringing this to the students of Simsbury High School, they have facilitated programs for adults, and presented at conferences and workshops.
