Program Description

Event Details

Join us at the Library for a panel discussion with NBC Connecticut’s Taylor Kinzler, Chefs Chris Prosperi of Metro Bis and Tyler Anderson of Millwright’s, and Food Historian Sarah Wassberg Johnson, as they focus on three historic landmark buildings in town that illustrate Simsbury’s cultural history, rich in food and agriculture.

Our panelists will explore the stories of the Ensign House, 1820 House, and Hop Brook Mill, and how they came to be restaurants in present-day Simsbury.

This program is partially funded by a CT Humanities grant and is in partnership with the Simsbury Historical Society.
