Declaration of Independence Reading & Connecticut's 4 Signers

The Declaration of Independence will be read by actors representing the four Connecticut signers of this most important document in 1776. The reading is part of a series of inclusive programs organized by the Simsbury 250th Celebration Committee to celebrate the official signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776.  

The content of the program was designed by the Simsbury DAR and includes a fun interactive question and answer discussion. Attend this live performance and imagine the moments when our founding fathers set into motion the concepts of self governance and guided future generations to carry out the principles of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
