Damien Cregeau will provide a PowerPoint slideshow on the various aspects of General Benedict Arnold's acts of treason. This presentation will illustrate that Arnold did a lot more damage than just sell the plans for West Point in September of 1780. Mr. Cregeau will begin with a brief description of the many heroic acts of Arnold in several battles, followed by marriage to Peggy Shippen, then his sixteen-month correspondence with Major John Andre, handler of intelligence for the British in New York. The response to Andre's arrest includes stories of both Major Benjamin Tallmadge and Samuel Huntington of Connecticut as well as Washington's aide-de-camp. Colonel Alexander Hamilton.
