Meet Fernando Velez of Chokaico Craft Chocolate in Avon! Fernando will show you how cacao is grown and processed to become the delicious chocolate that he creates in his shop. He will demonstrate the steps required in chocolate-making and there will be a hands-on element to your learning. You may need to wear a hairnet for this portion of the workshop.
There will also be a tasting for each person of Fernando's creations with the sample's names and provenance details. After the tasting is done, folks may purchase bars at a 10% workshop discount.
There is a $5 materials fee (cash-only) for this class. Please bring this with you on the night of program. Registration is for adults 21+.
