Shopping for cheese can be intimidating! From price disparity to over-the-top food trends, we’ve managed to overcomplicate one of the oldest, simplest and most nutritious foods. Join us for a taste of Connecticut’s dairy history, and learn what to look for and what questions to ask when visiting a cheese counter.
New Curds on the Block is an all-American cheese shop in Oakville, CT that carries exclusively cheeses made in the Northeast. Kate works directly with cheesemakers and farmers to source fresh and seasonal products to serve to you at peak deliciousness.
There is a $5 materials fee (cash-only) for this class. Please bring this with you on the night of workshop. Registration is for teens and adults 13+.
