We welcome newborns and infants to join us on the Library Lawn for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Join us on the Library Lawn for a program of rhymes, songs and books for older babies who have begun walking. This program is designed for children who are walking up to 24 months.

Marie Lim and her guitar present a fun-filled music and movement program on the Library Lawn. Come sing songs, make music, and move to the beat!

Join us on the Library Lawn for this music-filled program. Toddlers and their caregivers will be actively engaged in listening, moving, having fun, and burning off some energy in a thoughtfully structured environment.

Children ages 1-6 and their caregivers are welcome to join us for playtime in the Children's Room and a mini drop-in craft in the Discovery Center.

Took Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome. Please register for Zoom Link.

The Friends of the Simsbury Public Library will host New York Times

Join instructor Pam Palmer in the Library's Innovators' Workshop on how to use the sewing machine. Guidance will be provided on basic sewing machine techniques and how to create simple items. This class does not teach you how to sew.

The Kenn Morr Band: world class music from a town you haven't heard of.

Join Ms. Hilary for an outdoor storytime (weather permitting, or we'll move indoors) featuring "magic carpets" for children to sit on and lots of fun songs and stories that celebrate where kids can go using their imagination.

Geek out and watch Anime! Sometimes we also do some Anime type crafting and gaming. 

Mason, a Simsbury High School student, is available every Wednesday from 3-5 pm to help you with technology issues.

Children will get to create their own bubble wands and test them out blowing bubbles. We will create our wands inside, but move outside to the courtyard for blowing bubbles, weather permitting. 

Get creative painting a canvas panel and personalize it with your name using a trending marbled effect. 

This is an in-person INDOOR program. 

Drop and play some games! Every week we will focus on learning to play a different game. A variety of games are showcased from board games to video games. Examples of games played: Mario Kart, Jackbox Party Packs, Sagrada, Dominion, and more!

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs. The program involves reading the Great Decisions book and meeting in a group to discuss the most critical global issues facing America today.

Based on a different prompt each month, local adult poets will write poems to share with the group for constructive feedback.
