Stop by the Children's Room to pick up a be kind bracelet craft. First come, first served, while supplies last. 

We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time.

In this lively early literacy program, we will read a story, learn action rhymes and fingerplays, move to music, and share ukulele songs together! This program is for ages 1-5 with a caregiver.

Join Ms. Stephanie for this special storytime series. Each program will take place at a different location in Simsbury. This week, meet us at the Simsbury Police Department to read some stories and take photos with the Chief. 

Join us for hands-on outdoor play in the lower level courtyard outside the Children's Room. Drop in.

Join us for a meet and greet with Elphaba and Glinda! Participants will listen to a story, sing along to songs from the show and take photos with the characters one on one.

Join us on the library lawn for water games!  We'll have a blast with relay races, games and water balloons!  This program is for children entering grades 1-6.

Join us on the Library Lawn to have fun with goats! We’ll have a petting zoo and goats making hoofprint art. This program will be held outside in light rain (under tents). Rain Date of Wednesday, July 16 in case of thunderstorms.

Kids will use chalk pastels to blend vibrant colors and recreate the magical beauty of the northern lights. They’ll learn simple techniques to create a glowing effect on dark paper, making their artwork shine bright.

Join us to meet, touch, and learn about live animals. This week's critters will include a gargoyle gecko, a leopard gecko, bearded dragons, an iguana, an ackie monitor, a blue tongue skink, and a fire skink.

The Aging and Disability Commission invites you to join us for our Inaugural Summer Fun Fest taking place on Saturday, July 19th from 6-8 PM, at the First Church of Simsbury.
