Drop by the Teen Space for a crafty time! Twice a month we will try out a different craft. This week, we're so excited that Kirsten of Gather on Hopmeadow is joining us! She's going to teach us about the vibrant tradition of Huichol Yarn Art, a beautiful folk art inspired by the Indigenous Huichol (Wixárika) people of Mexico. In this hands-on class, participants will learn techniques for creating intricate designs using colorful yarn while designing a landscape or imagery of their own choice. Explore pattern, color, and texture as you create a unique piece of yarn art to take home.
