Strum your way into the music world with our Teen Beginner Ukulele Class! Perfect for aspiring musicians (rising grades 7-12), these introductory classes will cover the basics of ukulele playing in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

No prior experience? No problem! Our skilled instructors from Kinetic Ukes will guide you through everything you need to know, from holding the ukulele to playing your first chords and simple melodies. 

This is a summer-long class, and participants are encouraged to attend every session to get a good foundation. Registration is required. 

A limited number of ukuleles are available for checkout with your library card. Participants using a library ukulele will need their parent/guardian to fill out a Library of Things waiver to check out the instrument. This form is attached to this calendar event. Forms will also be available the first day of class.
