Enjoy a relaxing morning yoga session with Simsbury's own Journey of Yoga on the library's front lawn. If this is your first class with us, please complete the liability waiver (linked to the right under "Attachments").

Stop by the Children's Room to pick up a craft. First come, first served, while supplies last. 

We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time.

Join us for a few songs, a read aloud, then explore and play with one of the STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) concepts of the week! This week we'll be painting with colorful ice! 

Join Ms. Kaite for a fun-filled music and movement program. Come sing songs, make music, and move to the beat!

Join us for hands-on outdoor play in the lower level courtyard outside the Children's Room. Drop in.

Uke Hoots are community play alongs for acoustic instruments and voices. Join us as we play through American roots and popular music favorites. All playing abilities are welcome.

Would you like to learn the basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online?

Took Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome.

Join us for an Olympic opening ceremony viewing party! Experience the excitement as athletes parade in; drop in to enjoy snacks, drinks, and a fun afternoon for all! No registration required.

You’re invited to learn about the power of poetry with Elizabeth Acevedo!

Discover how bees communicate, see, and live. Explore an abandoned paper wasp hive and look at the “combs”. Taste different types of honey, and finally make a bee watering station. 

We are sad to share that Ms. Mika will be leaving the library. Drop into the Discovery Center (in the Children's Room) for cookies and to say goodbye.

Join us for Buildwave! During the program participants build with waves of diverse materials like Lego®, Plus-Plus®, and more. Each building wave is enhanced by a dynamic audiovisual experience unlike any other.
 

Adventurers, this week we are trying a different role-playing game. If you have your heart set on D&D and nothing else, you might want to register for next week's session. 

Drop into the Teen Space on Wednesdays to play some games! We alternate each week between video games on the Nintendo Switch and a variety of board games.

Join us to meet, touch, and learn about live animals. This week's critters include a corn snake, ball python, milk snake, sand boa, and hognose snake.

Otaku Oasis is the place to be if you're a fan of manga and anime! Each week we'll do an activity while we watch anime. The Library has a premium subscription to Crunchroll. We will vote democratically for what show we will watch.

Join the Teen Advisory Board! We test out programming ideas, take care of some of the community garden beds, and help out around the library. Have your voice heard about what you'd like to see at the library. 

At this no-stress book discussion, join readers in their 20s, 30s, and 40s to talk about current book picks. You do not need to be reading anything to participate. A partnership between Bloomfield, Granby, and Simsbury libraries and open to all.

Strum your way into the music world with our Teen Beginner Ukulele Class! Perfect for aspiring musicians (rising grades 7-12), these introductory classes will cover the basics of ukulele playing in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
