Event Details

Would you like to learn the basic skills needed to perform tasks on computers and online? The Library will have classes and assessments in three main areas: Essential Computer Skills; Essential Software Skills; and Using Technology in Daily Life.

This class is INTERNET BASICS covering connection to the internet, navigating websites, tabs and favorites, search terms and results, shortcuts, privacy, online forms, viruses and email scams. This is a 2-hour class with 15 minutes to set up your Northstar account that will keep track of your progress.

Classes & assessments moderated by “Tech with a Teen,” Shawn Lawlor and all classes will be held in the Technology Learning Center upstairs. Cosponsored by the Simsbury Senior Center and the Simsbury Public Library.
