HYBRID - Parenting Disability Support Group

Are you a parent or caregiver of a child with disabilities? Consider the Parenting Disability Support Group - a safe and supportive space for those who are raising children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. Come together in community with other caregivers with similar life experiences to help inform, empower, and inspire. Hybrid meetings - come in-person or via Zoom. For our May meeting we welcome a Special Needs Professional to our support group’s discussion; “ABCs of Government Benefits for Your Loved One with Special Needs” helps to provide a greater understanding of the various government benefits available to loved ones. It will discuss how to qualify for, and preserve, benefits such as Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Social Security Disability (SSDI), Medicaid, Medicare, and ABLE Accounts. Registration is required to attend either in-person or virtually.
