We welcome newborns and infants for our interactive program of rhymes, songs, lap bounces, and books for babies. For babies who are not yet walking and their caregivers.

Bring your baby to our drop-in playgroup which immediately follows our Born to Read program. Stay for bubbles, conversation with other caregivers, and social tummy time. 

This is an in-person INDOOR program.

For beginners and those who need a refresher:

Join us for a program of rhymes, songs and books for older babies who have begun walking. This program is designed for children who are walking up to 24 months.

This is an in-person INDOOR program.

AARP Tax-Aide Volunteers will provide free individual income tax filing assistance. You must book an appointment ahead of time by calling the Simsbury Senior Center at (860) 658-3273. Walk-ins will not be accepted.

Get ready for rhymes, shakers, and songs designed for curious toddlers. Focus will be on a familiar structure to each meeting, so little ones can listen, follow directions, and have lots of fun!

Holly McGrath presents a Spanish language storytime. Speakers of all languages are welcome to join us for stories, songs and rhymes. Whether you already speak Spanish or want to learn something new, this is a fun program for all. 

The Friday English Conversation Club provides a welcoming atmosphere for English as a second-language speakers to participate in lively back-and-forth conversation. Meet and get to know others who are also adjusting to life in the U.S.

Took Spanish in high school and want to refresh your language skills? Our lively group meets weekly to speak Spanish and discuss various language customs. New members are always welcome.

Now that you've learned the basics of how to use our sewing machines in Sewing Machine 101, join us to learn some of our machines special features.

Uke Hoots are community play alongs for acoustic instruments and voices. Join us as we play through American roots and popular music favorites. All playing abilities are welcome.

Anime Club is switching it up & is now Fandom Club! Join us to geek out about your favorite show, youtube channel, manga, or comics, and make a craft! 

Shawn, a Simsbury High School student, is available every Wednesday from 3-5 pm to help you with technology issues.

Do you love to play video games and tabletop games? Drop into the Teen Game Club every Wednesday at 3 pm to play games! We alternate every week between video games on the Nintendo Switch console and tabletop games. 

Register today for this fun taste test event. We'll sample different flavored Peeps & decide if they are delicious or disgusting. Please register so we know how many peeps to purchase. 

Kids will decorate a mini pot and plant their seeds to start their own chia pet.

This is an in-person INDOOR program.

For students in grades 2-6 interested in learning to play chess or improving their chess game. Students should know how the chess pieces move before their first visit.

Join us with a joyful heart and in comfortable clothes to engage with your child through breathing exercises, child-focused yoga movement, and fun relaxation. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat.

Great Decisions is America's largest discussion program on world affairs.

Join us for a lively evening with the French Conversation group.

Based on a different prompt each month, local adult poets will write poems to share with the group for constructive feedback.
